How to Send Your Parts for Remanufacturing

1. Complete a Work Order
   Fill out a work order, print it, and include it with your shipment. Refer to the Documents & Forms / Work Order section of our website.


2. Package Your Part
   Package your part according to Umatek's packaging guidelines. Refer to the Documents & Forms / Return Process Steps  section of our website.


3. Choose Your Shipping Method
   You are responsible for shipping arrangements and shipping costs.
   Option A:
   Ship your part to Umatek using the carrier of your choice with prepaid freight.
   Option B:
   Take advantage of our discounted shipping rates by using one of our preferred carriers. Shipping charges will be added to your invoice. Simply submit a pickup request through our website, and we'll email you the required shipping documents.


4. Once Your Shipment Arrives at Umatek
   Your part will be inspected. If your part or engine qualifies for remanufacturing, we can immediately exchange it for a remanufactured unit that is ready to ship (subject to availability).
   If you would rather have your own part remanufactured and returned to you, please indicate this on the work order.


5. Quotes for Engines, Cylinder Heads & Custom Work
   For complete engines, cylinder heads, performance modifications, or other special requests, you will receive a quotation for approval before any work begins.

We do not reserve remanufactured inventory while waiting for your core to arrive at Umatek.
